This is our second update.

We have also completed a number of celempung pieces which may be included with either Balinese or Javanese gamelan orchestras. This webpage shows a beautifully crafted celempung.

Some of the banana bole stands have been completed. Note that there are two types. One of each type will be included in the forthcoming Set A4a Wayang Kulit.

The next photo shows some of the puppet boxes and lids being painted. The puppet box is used to store the puppets. During performances, the puppet box is placed on the left side of the puppeteer. It acts as a sounding box for the puppeteer who strikes the metal clappers hung on the side. The lid is placed on the right side of the puppeteer for pre-sorted puppets to be quickly used during a performance.

Finally, we show the range of brass-etched shadow puppets. Each of these pieces will be mounted onto a metal wire puppet stand which in turn will be inserted into pre-drilled holes in the banana bole stands. Some of these puppets will be placed on the puppeteer box lid during a performance. These puppets are currently being painted in a generic style. A display photo will be done when all the elements are completed.
